But that is absolutely not so! And the best thing is: If you dare to do it yourself, you can create your very own mixture. I just went through everything and put together my personal best of. A Granola Blend by Bistro Badia, so to speak. There may then in no case missing pistachios, coconut flakes, cinnamon and cardamom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is granola and what do you need for it?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even though I&#8217;ll probably get a scolding from all the muesli experts, I&#8217;ll say it anyway: Granola is somehow a kind of muesli. But you can still differentiate a little bit in any case. Maybe it would be better if I said that granola is a&nbsp;<strong>baked muesli<\/strong>&nbsp;or a&nbsp;<strong>crunchy m<\/strong>&nbsp;uesli.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At its core, it consists of kernel oat flakes, which are mixed well with honey and a little oil and then baked in the oven until crispy. The mixture with honey (you can also use agave syrup) makes the flakes stick together and form clusters. After the oatmeal is baked and cooled, you actually already have a granola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Note: For very classic granola you need only oatmeal, honey or agave syrup and oil.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can then use the crunchy flakes as a topping for smoothie bowls or even desserts. I personally enjoy granola actually also super happy times as a cereal substitute and tip me some oat drink on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Your very own mixture: This is where it gets exciting!<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The basic version already tastes very delicious, but you can pimp granola incredibly well. You can really let your imagination run wild. Add nuts, seeds, kernels, dried fruit and spices as you like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here are a few examples of what you could put in your granola:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Peanuts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pecans<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Walnuts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hazelnuts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pistachios<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Macadamia<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sesame<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coconut flakes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flaxseed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chia seeds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sultanas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Figs, dried<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sunflower seeds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pumpkin seeds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pine nuts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cinnamon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cardamom<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sea salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cocoa nibs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of course, the list is incomplete and I&#8217;m sure you have your very own favorites here. Once you&#8217;ve put everything together, all you really have to do is mix all the ingredients together in a bowl, place on a baking sheet and bake. And that&#8217;s it. Your kitchen will definitely smell incredibly delicious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Granola by Bistro Badia &#8211; my personal favorite mix<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following recipe is my own personal granola mix. I like it super nutty and have it therefore richly upgraded with different nuts. In addition, sesame seeds, sunflower and pumpkin seeds come with me purely. I especially like the taste and aroma of coconut flakes &#8211; especially in combination with cardamom and cinnamon. I wanted my very own blend to be remotely reminiscent of a very nutty baklava. If you want to intensify that, you could even add a drop or two of rose water. Either way: I&#8217;m very sure you already have the right mix for you in mind &#8211; or just give mine a try.
