spicy fish in tomato sauce"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap\"><strong>Samke Harra<\/strong> means something like spicy fish.\nIn my family, there are two ways of preparing spicy fish.\nThe first is <strong>fish in a creamy tahini sauce<\/strong> with lots of garlic and the second is <strong>samke harra in tomato sauce<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-fresh-ingredients-for-a-fresh-fish-dish\">Fresh ingredients for a fresh fish dish<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I used <strong>cod<\/strong> for the fish.\nBut you can just as easily use <strong>pollock<\/strong>, <strong>halibut<\/strong> or <strong>zander<\/strong>.\nJust check what you can get at your local fishmonger.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>You should keep the following things in mind when buying fish:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>If<\/strong> the fish <strong>smells<\/strong> like fish, then it is not fresh.\nFresh fish does not have an unpleasant odor. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the fish is <strong>slimy<\/strong>, you should no longer eat it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you buy a whole fish, make sure that the eyes are <strong>clear<\/strong>.\nIf they are cloudy, the fish is not fresh. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>And if there is no fish store near you and no market day, you can also use <strong>frozen fish<\/strong>.\nDefrost it gently, rinse it with cold water and pat it dry with kitchen paper. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the spicy tomato sauce, we have <strong>three<\/strong> spicy ingredients: <strong>garlic<\/strong>, <strong>chili<\/strong> and <strong>harissa<\/strong>.\nThere are also a few Levantine spices, onion, paprika and fresh tomatoes.\nAll the ingredients are roasted in a pan and cooked into a relish-like sauce.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To cook a delicious samke harra, you need the following ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cod fillets<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flour  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/36Vq6LL\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Olive oil<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Onion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Garlic<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>red peppers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tomatoes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>red chili<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fresh coriander<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tomato paste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/bistrobadia.de\/en\/harissa-with-rose-water\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Harissa<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cumin, ground<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2tE8Jkn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Turmeric<\/a>, ground<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sweet paprika powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coriander, ground<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Salt  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bistrobadia.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/samkeh-harra-9.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"819\" height=\"1024\" data-src=\"https:\/\/bistrobadia.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/samkeh-harra-9-819x1024.jpg\" alt=\"All the ingredients for samke harra on a table.\" class=\"wp-image-38650 lazyload\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/bistrobadia.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/samkeh-harra-9-819x1024.jpg 819w, https:\/\/bistrobadia.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/samkeh-harra-9-240x300.jpg 240w, https:\/\/bistrobadia.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/samkeh-harra-9-768x960.jpg 768w, https:\/\/bistrobadia.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/samkeh-harra-9.jpg 1200w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 819px) 100vw, 819px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 819px;
