This means you can not only eat the squeaky cheese as a side dish, but also serve it as a snack or topping for salads or soups. <\/p>\n\n<p>Halloumi is not just a grilled cheese for the summer, it can be enjoyed all year round and is also delicious with vegetables in <a href=\"https:\/\/bistrobadia.de\/en\/halloumi-pita\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a pita<\/a> or as crispy <strong>halloumi from the airfryer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-frittieren-ohne-fett-so-bereitest-du-halloumi-in-der-heissluftfritteuse-zu\">Deep-frying without fat &#8211; how to prepare halloumi in the hot air fryer<\/h2>\n\n<p>Fire up the <strong>oven<\/strong> for 1-2 halloumi? That doesn&#8217;t make much sense to me. Of course you could <strong>fry<\/strong> the cheese in the <strong>pan<\/strong>, but it always splatters and doesn&#8217;t get crispy evenly.    <\/p>\n\n<p>So it&#8217;s time for the Airfryer. Because if I want my food to be healthy and crispy, then the appliance comes into its own. It not only makes halloumi crispy, but also <a href=\"https:\/\/bistrobadia.de\/en\/falafel-from-the-air-fryer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">falafel<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/bistrobadia.de\/en\/air-fryer-chickpeas\/kichererbsen-aus-der-heissluftfritteuse-2-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">chickpea snacks<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n<p>To prepare the halloumi in the Airfryer, you only need <strong>3 ingredients<\/strong>: Halloumi, olive oil and salt. You could also <strong>leave out<\/strong> the oil and salt, as Cypriot cheese is already very salty by nature. I opted for <strong>cubes<\/strong> because I mixed them into my salad. It was pretty tasty and I can only recommend it.  <\/p>\n\n<p>However, I also simply baked a <strong>halved<\/strong> halloumi in the airfryer &#8211; and it also turned out nice and crispy. Depending on how crispy you like it, you should bake the cheese in the air fryer for approx. <strong>8-10 minutes<\/strong> <strong>until golden brown<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p>Halloumi from the air fryer is a great snack or crispy side dish to enhance any meal.
