The grilled peppers make the chickpea cream a great alternative to the <a href=\"https:\/\/bistrobadia.de\/en\/hummus-recipe\/hummus-selber-machen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">original<\/a> and bring variety to the table. The delicious cream is not only perfect for dipping, but also makes a really good spread. The recipe is very quick and easy to make and can also be adapted to suit your own preferences (e.g. spiciness).   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-spicy-hummus-with-peppers-what-goes-into-the-dip\">Spicy hummus with peppers &#8211; what goes into the dip<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To make delicious paprika hummus, you need the following ingredients:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Chickpeas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Peppers (roasted peppers from a jar or freshly grilled)  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tahini (sesame paste)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fresh lemon juice  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Garlic  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Olive oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cumin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chili powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you like it particularly spicy, I also recommend a pinch <strong>of smoked paprika powder<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-make-your-own-paprika-hummus-quick-and-easy\">Make your own paprika hummus: quick and easy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Preparing hummus with bell peppers is very easy. Just follow these steps: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Cook the chickpeas until soft<\/strong>: For creamy paprika hummus, you need butter-soft chickpeas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Grill the peppers<\/strong>: You can do this either at high heat in the oven or directly on the grill. You get more roasted flavors on the grill. Alternatively, you can also use peppers that have already been grilled from a jar.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Blend<\/strong>: Simply put all the ingredients in a blender and puree the dip until creamy. Pour off some of the water and fill up again with cold water until you can reach into the water with your hand. Then stir the chickpeas in the water by hand, tip the pan and allow the water to flow out of the pan. The skin of the chickpeas will have already come off and will flow out with the water.
