Whether for lunch or dinner, a barbecue or a picnic &#8211; this fruity lentil salad is easy to prepare and can be enjoyed on any occasion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-a-good-mix-the-best-ingredients-for-a-fruity-salad-with-lentils-and-apple\">A good mix: the best ingredients for a fruity salad with lentils and apple<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For me, a good salad is one that combines many different flavors and textures. These types of lentils do not break down as quickly when cooked as red lentils, for example. However, they are very suitable for <a href=\"https:\/\/bistrobadia.de\/en\/lebanese-lentil-soup\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lentil soup<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-preparation-in-4-steps-make-your-own-lentil-salad-with-apple\">Preparation in 4 steps: Make your own lentil salad with apple<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You only need <strong>30 minutes<\/strong> to prepare the <strong>lentil and apple salad<\/strong>! That&#8217;s why the salad sometimes ends up in my bowl in the evening as an after-work dish. And depending on what&#8217;s left in the vegetable drawer of my fridge, I sometimes swap out or add a few salad ingredients. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>My tip:<\/strong> I also like to experiment with spices, so I can recommend <a href=\"https:\/\/bistrobadia.de\/en\/sumac-spice-of-the-levant\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sumac<\/a>, <strong>cumin<\/strong> or <strong>cinnamon<\/strong> as an extra pinch for an unusual touch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But now to the simple <strong>salad preparation<\/strong>, which you can complete in <strong>4 steps<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Cook the lentils:<\/strong> Rinse the lentils and cook until al dente.
