Ingredients

  • 1 L Water
  • 4 TSP black tea (loose)
  • 15 g fresh mint
  • 3 TBSP Sugar
  • 3 TBSP Lemon juice
  • Ice cubes for chilling and serving

Zubereitung

  • Bring the water to the boil and let it cool to approx. 70°C.
  • Wash the mint, put it in a carafe, pour in hot water and stir in the black tea. Let the tea steep for 3-5 minutes. Depending on how strong you want the iced tea.
  • Pour the tea through a sieve into another carafe filled with ice cubes.
  • Add the sugar and lemon juice and stir until the sugar has dissolved.
  • Chill the mint iced tea or pour into glasses filled with ice cubes and serve.
