C&rsquo;\u00e9tait le cas avant la grande explosion du port et ce sera toujours le cas \u00e0 l&rsquo;avenir. Certains de ces stands de street food se sont sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s dans le kaak &#8211; le pain de rue libanais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-comme-un-melange-sauvage-d-anneau-de-sesame-et-de-bagel\">Comme un m\u00e9lange sauvage d&rsquo;anneau de s\u00e9same et de bagel<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Personnellement, je ne passe jamais \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de ce d\u00e9lice. Peu importe ce qu&rsquo;il y avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 manger avant, je dois au moins toujours le ramener \u00e0 la maison. Oui, dans ce sens, je suis un peu hamster. Mais quand on ne se rend au Liban qu&rsquo;une fois tous les deux ans, cela devrait \u00eatre permis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce qui est g\u00e9nial chez Kaak ? Si tu n&rsquo;arrives pas \u00e0 d\u00e9cider si tu pr\u00e9f\u00e8res un anneau de s\u00e9same ou un bagel, tu es bien servi ici. Tu as les deux en m\u00eame temps. L&rsquo;ext\u00e9rieur du pain est bien croustillant gr\u00e2ce au s\u00e9same et l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur est super moelleux. Le kaak existe sous forme de pain de rue, de biscuits sucr\u00e9s, de biscuits fourr\u00e9s, de cantuccini, etc. Avec le temps, je partagerai bien s\u00fbr ces recettes avec toi. Le pain de poche se d\u00e9guste traditionnellement avec de l&rsquo;huile d&rsquo;olive, du za&rsquo;atar, du labneh et des l\u00e9gumes frais. Mais tu peux aussi le garnir \u00e0 ta guise, comme un bagel ou un petit pain. J&rsquo;adore garnir le kaak d&rsquo;un bon gouda et de tomates, saupoudrer de za&rsquo;atar et mettre le pain farci dans la machine \u00e0 sandwich ou le four \u00e0 panini. Accompagner le tout d&rsquo;une tasse de th\u00e9 noir sucr\u00e9 et de quelques olives. Parfait pour le tartiner et le garnir.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-la-pate-spectaculaire-mais-facile\">La p\u00e2te : spectaculaire, mais facile !<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La p\u00e2te pour le kaak est super facile \u00e0 pr\u00e9parer et se fait plus rapidement que tu ne le penses. Avant de pr\u00e9parer pour la premi\u00e8re fois ce d\u00e9licieux pain de poche, je le respectais vraiment. J&rsquo;ai \u00e9t\u00e9 d&rsquo;autant plus surprise de voir \u00e0 quel point c&rsquo;\u00e9tait facile. Mais avant de planifier directement ta prochaine session de p\u00e2tisserie, tu dois d&rsquo;abord partir \u00e0 la recherche du germe de la myst\u00e9rieuse cerise des rochers : Mahleb !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le mahleb est une \u00e9pice utilis\u00e9e principalement en p\u00e2tisserie. Elle a un parfum et un go\u00fbt tr\u00e8s particuliers. Le plus proche que je puisse faire est de le comparer \u00e0 l&rsquo;amande. Mais ne t&rsquo;inqui\u00e8te pas, tu n&rsquo;as pas besoin d&rsquo;escalader une falaise pour obtenir cette \u00e9pice. Tous les supermarch\u00e9s orientaux en vendent et tu peux aussi l&rsquo;acheter en ligne sans probl\u00e8me. En outre, une ou deux gouttes d&rsquo;eau de fleur d&rsquo;oranger et d&rsquo;eau de rose sont ajout\u00e9es \u00e0 la p\u00e2te. Si tu le souhaites, tu peux aussi ajouter un peu d&rsquo;anis, mais ce n&rsquo;est pas obligatoire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En r\u00e8gle g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, le pain est cuit dans un four en pierre \u00e0 tr\u00e8s haute temp\u00e9rature. Ce n&rsquo;est \u00e9videmment pas possible \u00e0 la maison. Mais ne t&rsquo;inqui\u00e8te pas, ma recette fonctionne parfaitement dans un four ordinaire. Elle sera toutefois un peu plus \u00e9paisse que l&rsquo;original \u00e0 Beyrouth. Ce qui me pla\u00eet particuli\u00e8rement ? Outre son go\u00fbt d\u00e9licieux, le kaak est pour moi super vari\u00e9 et apporte toujours son propre ar\u00f4me particulier. J&rsquo;adore garnir la partie inf\u00e9rieure du pain et d\u00e9chirer l&rsquo;arc sup\u00e9rieur pour tremper. Parfois, je trempe aussi l&rsquo;anneau sup\u00e9rieur dans mon th\u00e9. Mais la mani\u00e8re dont tu d\u00e9gustes le kaak est laiss\u00e9e \u00e0 ton appr\u00e9ciation et \u00e0 ta cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9.
