L&rsquo;escalade totale de la d\u00e9cadence du plaisir oriental. La pavlova originale est originaire d&rsquo;Australie ou de Nouvelle-Z\u00e9lande (ici, les pays se disputent sur l&rsquo;origine) et a \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9e d&rsquo;apr\u00e8s la danseuse de ballet russe Anna Pavlova. Anna a gagn\u00e9 le c\u0153ur des spectateurs avec son spectacle et a apparemment aussi inspir\u00e9 les cuisiniers. Quel est le rapport avec la cuisine libanaise ? Les pavlovas sont sucr\u00e9es et magnifiques &#8211; et les Libanais sont absolument adorables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais la pavlova au Liban s&rsquo;appelle-t-elle aussi pavlova ? J&rsquo;ai fait un test avec ma maman et je lui ai dit quelle serait ma prochaine recette. \u00ab\u00a0S&rsquo;il te pla\u00eet, quoi ? Qu&rsquo;est-ce que c&rsquo;est ? Tu fais de la politique maintenant ?\u00a0\u00bb. Je ne sais pas comment elle a trouv\u00e9 la politique, honn\u00eatement. Je lui ai parl\u00e9 des composants : Un fond de meringue l\u00e9g\u00e8re, par-dessus une couche de cr\u00e8me fouett\u00e9e et par-dessus une escalade de fruits, de noix et de chocolat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Chez nous, on appelle \u00e7a une meringue ! Chez nous, on n&rsquo;appelle pas \u00e7a une pavlova\u00a0\u00bb.<br>Bam ! Pourquoi donner un nom \u00e0 quelque chose alors que l&rsquo;on peut tout nommer de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re. C&rsquo;est tellement typiquement arabe &#8230; d&rsquo;un c\u00f4t\u00e9, il y a un million de fa\u00e7ons de dire \u00ab\u00a0je t&rsquo;aime\u00a0\u00bb : ma vue, mon \u00e2me, tu es la lumi\u00e8re des \u00e9toiles dans mon globe oculaire &#8230; Mais quand il s&rsquo;agit de diff\u00e9rencier les esp\u00e8ces : M\u00f6\u00f6\u00f6p ! Chez nous aussi, les oiseaux semblent tous s&rsquo;appeler \u00ab\u00a0oiseau\u00a0\u00bb &#8211; sauf ceux que l&rsquo;on peut manger, bien s\u00fbr. Comment crois-tu que j&rsquo;ai r\u00e9agi \u00e0 la chanson \u00ab\u00a0Tous les oiseaux sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 l\u00e0\u00a0\u00bb au jardin d&rsquo;enfants&#8230; Une r\u00e9v\u00e9lation !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D\u00e9sol\u00e9, je m&rsquo;\u00e9gare. Mes \u00ab\u00a0Petit Pavlova\u00a0\u00bb se pr\u00e9sentent avec un soup\u00e7on de cardamome et d&rsquo;eau de rose dans la meringue.
