Golden milk: Turmeric milk with cardamom and honey

Golden milk already had its 5 minutes of fame a few years ago, I know. But let’s be honest: this drink has been around for sooooo long and so many people still love to drink it that you’d think hot milk with turmeric would be absolutely timeless, right?

Especially now that it’s getting colder and colder outside and the gravitational anomaly of my couch is getting stronger and stronger, I’m allowed to have a healthy hot drink in addition to my otherwise beloved cola. Of course I still drink the cola, if only because otherwise I would have fits – my battered body has simply adjusted to all the E-additives in the fizzy drink.

So it is all the more important that with Golden Milk I am drinking a drink that seems to be so healthy that it could almost bring the dead back to life. Well… at least if you believe all the praise of the “new super drink with enormous healing powers from another dimension”.

Honestly? I don’t give a damn! I just like the stuff and it’s quick to make. I always boil my Golden Milk with a little cardamom and then sweeten it with a good dash of honey. Hmmmm… So, now I’m going to snuggle – on the couch – with Golden Milk. Bye!
